Arsenal have seen a deal to sign Denis Suárez come through, however the Gunners still have one in the works and will hope it can run into completion before transfer deadline tomorrow.
Yannick Carrasco is the man Unai Emery wants, but hammering out a deal to sign the Belgian from Chinese side Dalian Yifang is still a pain in the neck for the Premier League side.
Sky Italy says Arsenal are keen on signing Carrasco after being put down by Inter Milan over Ivan Perisic.
Perisic suddenly emerged a late pick for Arsenal who were looking to sign the Croatian on loan this season, but Inter Milan blocked the move.
Inter want a permanent deal for Perisic, one the Gunners cannot bring to the table. They have however turned their attention to Carrasco who plays in the Chinese Super League for Dalian Yifang.
The 25-year-old has scored seven goals in 26 games for the Chinese outfit this term and has five goals for the Blazers in 36 games.
A deal for Carrasco, if it comes through will definitely make Arsenal a more competitive side this campaign, as they look to tighten their grips on the top four.
Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League, but are levelled on points with neighbours Chelsea.
