Arsenal new boy Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has laid bare his frustration since joining Arsenal, according to report.
The Gabonese forward joined the Gunners during the winter transfer window in a deal that would become the most expensive in the history of the Gunners.
Arsenal reportedly splashed £56million to bring the player to the Emirates. However, he has faced some stern criticism in his very short stay. Despite winning the golden boot in German last season and registering himself as one of the best strikers in the world, many Arsenal fans do not think he is that great as a goalscorer.
Consequently, the former Dortmund player has admitted that he feels frustrated at Arsenal. Every game he has played so far – except the Carabao final against City – has been in the EPL.
Since the Gunners now play in the Europa League and the EPL, his chances to really show his quality have been limited to the EPL alone. This means that he only gets to prove his quality on weekends.
Aubameyang confessed that his ineligibility to play for the Gunners in the Europa League has frustrated him so much.
The pacy forward said: “I am really frustrated because the rules are a bit… I don’t know how to say in English, but I am disappointed because I can’t help my team.” He went further to calm his nerves by saying “That’s life. I have to deal with it.”
