Having played exceptionally in the game against West Brom, Eden Hazard is receiving accolades from fans, coaches, pundits and players.
The latest accolade was from his teammate and Chelsea captain Gary Cahill, who plays for the Three Lions of England.
The Chelsea defender and captain has praised the Belgian forward for his wonderful display, describing him as one of the best players in the world.
“He’s in that bracket where he’s a special player, not just in the Premier League but in world football and in Europe and the Champions League,” he said.
The England international also spoke about the Belgian’s quality and ability to dribble and make opponents commit unnecessary fouls on him.
“Everyone is aware of his ability and want to see him perform so a lot of the time he does,” Cahill said.
Hazard was one of the most fouled players in the league last season. He was also the most fouled player against West Brom.
The Belgium international scored a brace for Chelsea in the match and will be hoping to add more to his tally when Chelsea play against Qarabag in UEFA Champions League match on Tuesday.
