Man United interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has taken a sly dig at Jose Mourinho method following their win over Tottenham Hotspurs.
United continued their winning streak against capital rivals Tottenham Hotspurs on Sunday, thanks to a goal from Marcus Rashford to make it six wins in six games for Solskjaer.
Under the interim boss, United have scored a staggering 17 games and they look completed rejuvenated, and present a major threat to any of their opponents.
Apparently, during his final days at the helm of United, Mourinho lost the corporation of his players and his negative tactics was responsible for the Red Devil’s defeat to Liverpool in his final game.
Solskjaer has earned rave reviews for whatever he has done to transform Man United.
Teddy Sheringham, who also laced his boots for Man United during the reign of Sir Alex Ferguson asked him on his appointment what he would change and he said:
‘The first thing is to smile when you’re at Manchester United because when it’s over you do miss it.
‘It’s about attacking, about pace, about power.
‘I know we [nodding to Teddy] didn’t have the best of pace but we still attacked. ‘That’s what Manchester United are built around – attacking football and going forward. Not stupid square and back passes’.
