Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Germany goalkeeper Bernd Leno as their second summer signing, per reports.
Emery is reforming the Gunners squad and he has apparently started from the back having initially secured a deal for Swiss legendary defender Stephan Lichtsteiner on a free transfer.
From the opening of the transfer window, we knew it was only a matter of time before Arsenal sign Leno as they have been heavily linked with a move for the star.
Arsenal reached a €22m (£19.2m/$25m) agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for the players signature and he’s also put pen to paper on a five year deal.
The Arsenal fan base have been thrown into a frenzy following the confirmation of the deal but Leno reveals he’s known Thierry Henry, Jens Lehman and Alexandr Hleb which accounted for why he decided to make the switch.
Leno is expected to be first choice for Arsenal in-between the sticks and one of either Petr Cech or David Ospina is expected to leave before the opening of the season.
Welcome to the Emirates mate!!!!!!
