Arsenal contract rebel Alexis Sanchez was spotted in the Gunners training ahead of their league game with Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium.
Sanchez missed Arsenal’s pre-season tour and returned late on due to his exploits for the Chilean national team at the Confederations Cup in Russia. He was ruled out of action for three weeks by Arsene Wenger with claims that the attacker had picked up an abdominal injury.
Arsenal released a clip of the Chilean forward via their Instagram handle on training ground with the first team of Arsenal and that video has been making the rounds.
Sanchez missed Arsenal’s Premier thrilling opener against Leicester City and he is certain to miss the Stoke City game but he could be included in the team that will take on Liverpool on the 27th of August.
Sanchez has stalled over signing a new contract with Arsenal and he stirred speculation that he could be joining Paris Saint Germain when he tweeted from Paris last weekend. However, it appears that he would continue lacing his boots for Arsenal even though he’s yet to extend his contract.
Arsenal have signed on only two players in this transfer window but Wenger is poised to end the trophy drought that has ravaged his career.
