Arsenal have gotten on the good side of things since Unai Emery was sounded out to take the helm at the club.
So far, the Gunners have been able to haul themselves back up from the floor and are really digging their new approach to football under Emery.
Arsenal are now levelled on points with fourth-place Chelsea on the Premier League log. They humbled and harassed Burnley at the Emirates, belting them 3-1.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang rose to the helm in the Premier League goalscorers sheet, leaping just ahead of Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah with his brace.
But the Gunners still feel threatened between the sticks. Summer signing Bernd Leno fumbled in the game against Saints Southampton, gifting them the third goal that ended their winning streak.
Despite the bounce-back in today’s clash against Burnley, following their loss to Tottenham in the League Cup, there are fears Leno could put them in a difficult corner again. Petr Cech is now unreliable, and the Gunners are already scouring for his replacement.
Real Madrid Keylos Navas checks well in that department. The decorated keeper could be the answer.
Since Thibaut Courtois’s arrive from Chelsea in the summer, Navas has lost his position as number one and Madrid are keen to sell at around 13 million pounds. According to El Confidencial, Arsenal will take the deal and hope to close it in January.
