Unai Emery wants Arsenal to work collectively on their confidence on the field of play, if they are to maintain their run of clean sheets.
Arsenal will welcome Toffees Everton tomorrow and it promises to be a frenzied and pulsating clash.
The Gunners have won four matches in a row since losing to former champions and current champions Chelsea and Manchester City respectively, at the start of the season.
Gunners forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang complained about an unbalance in Arsenal’s backline. This has also been echoed by head coach Unai Emery.
The Spaniard fessed that the swing currently ongoing at the Emirates will take time to soak in, nonetheless, Arsenal must improve to keep winning.
Emery said: “First, the confidence with our defensive players. Second, working tactically to be more compact.
“But not only for the defensive players but for the whole team, the whole 11.
“With this process I think we also need time, but it’s our first disappointment from the first games of the season. We need to improve this.”
The Gunners are on levelled points with Sporting Lisbon in Group E in the ongoing Europa League, after the Portuguese outfit trumped Qarabag FK 2-0.
Next, Emery side will host Brentford in the third round of the EFL Cup, before returning to Premier League action again, taking on visiting Watford on September 29.
