After several failed attempt to sign the sensational winger, report according to the Express is in the claim that talks are currently going on for the players move to the Emirates.
Arsenal offered £30m first bid for the player which was rebuffed but despite the Gunners improved offer of £40million, Monaco have failed to let their guards down. Report claims that the French Champions are holding out for £50million for the player.
Monaco have become hunting ground for the top Guns of the Premier League and European clubs. Manchester City have already signed Bernardo Silva, and Benjamin Mendy, Tiemoue Bakayoko is now a Chelsea player, with Mbappe and Fabinho also in the radar of Real Madrid and Man United respectively.
However, the president of Monaco Leonardo Jardim has not ruled out the possible sale of Lemar and the other stars of his club.
Jardim was quizzed about the transfer of his players and he said:
“It’s important to keep all of the players who were important last season at the club,” he said.
“But down the years it has been shown that it is not always possible to keep hold of your players and you know how our project works.
“Therefore, our objective is to work with the players that are still here when the transfer window closes.”
We wait to see the outcome of the negotiation.
