Jose Mourinho didn’t get his wish of signing four players in the summer transfer window but he is likely going to get it in January.
According to emerging report, Manchester United have begun talks to sign Brazil and Flamengo midfielder Lucas Paqueta.
Paqueta is a product of the Flamengo’s academy but he had his breakthrough to the senior team of the side in 2016 after ascending the various grades of the club.
He has been in blistering form since the start of this season and European top clubs are said to be scampering for his signature. This term, the youngster has found the back of the net six times in 19 games for the Brazilian club and he has earned a call up to the national team of Brazil.
Liverpool, AC Milan, PSG and Barcelona, have all joined Manchester United in the hot chase of the player, who is said to be valued at €40million, reports Le10 Sport.
United have a massive squad but Mourinho has struggled to find creativity and balance among his players despite the signing of Fred.
Dubbed as the new Kaka and know for his trickery, Paqueta is one of the brightest emerging talents from South-America and he will be a good addition for any team.
We wait patiently to see where he ends up.
