Arsenal are one of the best breeding grounds for talented footballers in the World having transformed players like Cesc Fabregas, Thierry Henry, Theo Walcott and lately Alexandre Iwobi into world class footballers. The same cannot be said of their arch rivals Chelsea, who fancies established players.
Nigeria international and Arsenal youngster Kelechi Nwakali is on the cusp of another loan spell but he would prefer a move to the Bundesliga, as claimed by reports in Nigeria.
The midfielder who signed a deal for Arsenal last summer, spent the whole of last season on loan with Dutch side MVV Maastricht but he returned to London and was left of the Gunners squad that have traveled for their pre-season tour in Australia.
A second loan move for Nwakali is certainly on the cards because he is yet to secure a work permit in England. Talks are currently ongoing for the player between the his agent and older brother Allwell.
”’Kelechi and his brother Allwell are still in London. Our suggestion to Arsenal is that he should go on loan to a top division team,” CEO of ASJ Academy, the players former Club said
”This time, we are going for Germany. We have a meeting with Arsenal this afternoon.”
The most important thing for the player is that he secures a work permit but the location of the loan is not primary. What if he get to Clubs in Germany and not play regularly for them? The agent and the player must learn to be a tad patient with his development.
Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger has submitted that he could do with one or two signings but from history, we know Wenger, may not be involved in the signing of any other player.
