Manchester United are currently in talks to sign Dutch and Ajax wonder kid Justin Kluivert, who is the son of former Barcelona manager and player Patrick Kluivert, according to report.
Kluivert has caught the attention of Manchester United and a host of other top European Clubs with his barnstorming display for Ajax. However, United are in pole position to sign the 18-year-old silky forward and could agree a £10m plus add-ons deal for the player, claims the Mirror.
J. Kluiver has been admired and watched closely by Jose Mourinho since the days of Patrick Kluivert as a Barcelona player. Mourinho was among the coaching crew of Barcelona at that time and he has watched the player’s continuous and impressive development.
Kluivert was in the squad of Ajax that ended up as runners in the Europa League last season and he has continued to impress for his side. Back in November, the youngster scored a hatrick against Roda JC in a 5-1 victory and he has so far taken his tally to five goals and three assists in 14 League starts.
Man United signed Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal and Kluivert is viewed a player for the future and Mourinho has already sanctioned a deal for him.
Mourinho has a knack for not playing young players and so, Kluivert should be allowed to continue developing before moving.
