Arsenal and Barcelona are reportedly in talks to sign frustrated player Denis Suárez on loan this campaign.
However, that move has splitted decisions to sign the Spaniard among Arsenal’s top executive.
Recruited chief Sven Mislintat has expressed his dismay in the move to sign him. This is said to have been fueled by his inability to work to director of football Raul Sanhelli. Both men have had their differences put a huge hole between them, coupled with the fact that Arsenal are unwilling to release funds to sign players this month.
Suárez is currently being eyed by Gunners boss Unai Emery who is looking to bolster his squad in the better half of the Premier League.
However, the former Sevilla boss has conceded that Arsenal won’t make any permanent signing this month given the financial situation at the club.
Barcelona are willing to farm out the player to Arsenal and are said to have included a buy back option in the contract, should Gunner surge further to make the deal pull through.
Emery is a keen admirer of the Barcelona midfielder, who has also attracted city rivals Chelsea. But the Blues have decided to shift their focus to Zenit St Petersburg’s midfielder Leandro Peredes.
