South-American star prefers Arsenal move over Liverpool’s
Suddenly the hopes of the Arsenal fan base have surged up following the display of their club since Unai Emery took charge of the side. The stock of Arsenal have not in anyway reduced and the club remains one of the most attractive in Europe and the World.
Argentina rising star Matias Vargas has admitted that he’d prefer a move to Arsenal over the likes of top European clubs like Bayern Munich, PSG, Real Madrid and more, per reports.
Vargas currently plies his trade for Vélez Sarsfield, where he is currently a mainstay in their midfield. The 21-year-old like many South-American players is hoping to move to Europe sooner than later.
He appeared on a TV program in Argentina and he was quizzed about his preference of club and he responded “The Arsenal” even though clubs like Juventus, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and Liverpool were mentioned.
He further revealed that Man United goalkeeper Sergio Romero has told him about how good the atmosphere at the club is. His father also played a huge role in making him love Arsenal.

Vargas has a contract with his club until 2020 but he is not expected to come very expensive. This is the best time to pluck the player out of his club before the money bags of European football come lurking around.
Should Arsenal the 21-year-old star, he’d be a player for the future as he’ll need time to adapt and he may not be able to dislodge the likes of Mesut Ozil in the midfield of the club.
