Manchester United are the most successful Premier League Club and they boast of the presence of a coach who is loved by almost all footballers Jose Mourinho. Who wouldn’t want to play for the Special One?
The Red Devils have been handed a huge boost as report according to the Manchesterevening news has claimed that Brazil born star Anderson Talisca confirmed his desire to play for United.
Talisca had a barnstorming season while on loan with Turkish Club Besiktas last season and caught the attention of Man United – he scored 17 goals in 33 appearances for the Club.
His display for Besiktas last term saw them issued a hands-off warning to United, to the extent that the President of Besiktas Umut Guner was said to have activated a clause in the players contract that will enable them loan him for another season. That has turned out to be untrue.
Now, the 23-year-old who has been likened to Yaya Toure is expected to leave Estadio da Luz on a permanent basis this summer and a fee in the region of £15m has been mooted for his transfer.
However, the Brazil born central midfielder reiterated his desire to play for Manchester United under Jose Mourinho.
“I have a lot of respect for Jose Mourinho, he is an amazing manager and I have always said I would love to work with Mourinho,” he told Futbolarena.
“I do not want to get into this debate about an offer being made or not; let’s just say if I were to receive that kind of offer you would all know about it.”
Manchester United have been linked with a move for Matic, who played under Jose Mourinho at Chelsea. Given the age and creativity and the price tag of Talisca, he is a better option to Matic.
