Liverpool open their 2017/2018 Premier League campaign with a trip to Watford on Saturday.
The Red Devils may not have signed a big name in the transfer window, they have been able to add quality talents to their squad with Mohamed Salah, Dominic Solanke and Andy Robertson moving to the club and they are satisfied with the performance they have seen from their new acquisitions in their preseason tour.
Of recent, the Merseysiders have been distracted with Barcelona intense pursuit of their star player Philippe Coutinho but Jurgen Klopp are not ready to part with his playmaker.
However, the Brazilian will not be available for his side opening clash due to a back injury while Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne have also been ruled out.
Jordan Henderson has been down with illness but he is expected to be available. In the light of that, here is the Reds probable XI:
Simon Mignolet is expected to continue between the sticks for Liverpool ahead of Loris Karius.
Andy Robertson was signed to bolster the defence but James Milner may start ahead of him in the right-back; Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip as centre-backs while Trent Alexander-Arnold completes the defence in the left-back.
Klopp could deploy Jordan Henderson, Wijnaldum Georgini as the central midfielders and they will sit behind the pivot of the team. Barcelona target Philippe Coutinho is expected to play as the creative hub of the Reds and he will be ahead of the central midfield pair.
The arrival of Mohammed Salah and Dominic Solanke has added more firepower to the Reds attack and the former could occupy to the right flank with Saido Mane on the left flank and Roberto Firmino in the middle.
Probable XI: Mignolet, Milner, Lovren, Matip, Trent, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Coutinho, Salah, Firmino, Mane
