Arsenal right back Hector Bellerin has ruled out a transfer away from the London club amidst speculations surrounding his future, this is according to report.
Bellerin suddenly emerged as an indisputable first team player for Arsenal when Mathieu Debuchy picked up a shoulder injury that kept him out of action for long term in the 2014/15 season. Bellerin staked a claim for the position and ultimately ended the Arsenal spell of Debuchy.
The 23-year-old continued to grow his stock and attracted heavy interest from Barcelona, which prompted Arsenal to act quickly and offered him an improve contract with the club until 2023. Alas, the Spaniard is experiencing a dip in his form but he is heavily linked with a move to Manchester United.
He spoke with Skysport where he revealed that he is “definitely happy at the club and will be here next season”. and he added that: “I’ve got a long contract, I have been in London for a very long time, this is what I call my home right now.
“There is nothing else I am thinking of, for the summer. We have the World Cup, I don’t know if I will be called up or not [to Spain], that is something we will need to wait and see.
“If I get given the chance then I will be really happy for it. Apart from that I am sure I will be coming back here next pre-season.”
Arsenal are expecting an incoming manager and there is the general belief that the defense will overhauled but Bellerin is sure to be a regular starter if he improves upon his game.
Bellerin is valued at 40,00 Mill. € according to transfermarkt.
