‘See you soon bro’ £95m-rated star makes revelation after Man United mammoth bid

The January transfer window has been sounded open and Manchester United are expected  add to their otherwise strong squad.

Man United target Kalidou Koulibaly has sent fans into a frenzy with his recent social media post.

Jose Mourinho made the signing of a defender one of his priorities in the summer but somehow, he failed to sign one. Before his sack United returned to the market and they were heavily linked with a move to Koulibaly.

United made a bid for the centre-back in January but Napoli threw it out as claimed by the President of the club Aurelio de Laurentiis.

“[Jose] Mourinho wanted him, we rejected £95m,” De Laurentiis said. “But now it’s impossible that he leaves Napoli.”

De Laurentiis further revealed that while Napoli have no plans to allow the Senegalese leave in January, they could be swayed by a colossal offer for him.

“We won’t sell Koulibaly in January,” De Laurentiis added. “But the time will come where we can’t refuse other indecent offers.

“We always invest, but with criteria. In Italy there are two or three clubs with balanced books, and I’m the only one who doesn’t have any bank debt.”

The player has now threw the fans of United into a frenzy after he responded to Pogba’s post on Instagram after their win over Bournemouth.

If United signs Kouliably, it will turn a huge buy for them and a fix for their backline.
