See what Anthony Martial did at training after Jose Mourinho was sacked

Anthony Martial was reportedly delighted at the announcement of Jose Mourinho’s  sack from the helms of the club.

Martial became a bit-part player for Man United under the auspices of Mourinho this term and the pair were at loggerhead even before the start of the season.

It all started when Martial’s squad no,9 was handed to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who joined the club from PSG.

Ibrahimovic was loyal to Mourinho and the Swedish football god was a favourite for the Portuguese manager.

Martial claimed at the start of the season that he had no fuss with Mourinho but the French winger was put up for sale by the manager.

Man United blocked the sale of the player in a deal that would have seen Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic swapped for the skillful French winger.

The Daily Mail got the reaction of Martial after the sack of Mourinho was announced.

Mourinho was shown the exit of Old Trafford just two days after the Red Devils were thumped by Liverpool in the Premier League.

Part of United’s decision to let go off the Portuguese manager included a dreary football style, an unhappy environment and the same reason he was sacked from Chelsea.

Although, mixed reactions have trailed the sacking of the boss, Martial was said to be beaming the training ground of the club in Tuesday. He’s certainly a happy man and could bring his career back on the bounce.

  1. Just like Pogba, Martial is another rotten apple that thinks they’re bigger than the club. Most likely Pogba and his sub par performance was intended to engineer Mourinho’s sacking……..Pogba is indeed the virus that infected the morale of the first team ! The club should exit these trouble makers and owners should get rid of Woodward, the real culprit of the club’s demise over the past 7 years.

  2. It looks like some of you have forgotten the the third season syndrome of Jose. The players may be at fault at some point but jose should should the responsibility. In this modern age of football, you don’t assemble robust players in your midfield because your opponent would be crossing the ball or long ball. Fellanin,Matic ahh what do you think? Once you see the selection you know the end result. Jose’s tactics are whack and outmoded. I thank the board for not dolling out money to buy aging players with high wages and let the young players leave the club. He spent over 300 million pounds is not the 200 million that would help him become better. His ego is the cause of his downfall. United for life.
