Chelsea have panned out plans to scoop up Denis Suárez in the winter window, which will be flung open next year.
Saurez has caught the eyes of the London outfit and Maurizio Sarri has demanded that Chelsea sign him over.
Sarri is keen on stretching the length of his squad, especially his midfield berth. Suárez has been on the radar of the Italian tactician before his move to grab the reins at Chelsea in the summer.
Sarri had already shown an interest in the fringe player during his long stretch at Naples side Napoli as manager, and tried luring away from the midfielder then, but the move never materialised.
This term Saurez has notched up fewer games than he can boast, and has aired his view on getting more appearances for Barcelona.
Breaking into Ernesto Velverde has been really challenging for the 24-year-old. Chelsea are looking to break into the market in January and Sarri has handpicked Suárez has an option they need to acquire next year.
Reports in Catalonia says Chelsea are opting to sign Suárez on loan, but have included an option to buy.
It is unlikely Chelsea will cajole Barca into letting the Spaniard leave under those conditions, unless it’s a permanent move.
