The new signings made by Jurgen Klopp for Liverpool this summer are bound to change the outlook of the team as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Liverpool added Mohamed Salah, Dominic Solanke and Andrew Robertson to the fray and they are yet linked with a move for other quality players.
Saido Mane was Liverpool main man in attacker last season but the player has now switched positions with new signing Mohamed Salah and he reckons that he has happy to have the Egyptian play in his stead this term, reports Liverpoolecho.
Salah joined the Reds from Roma this summer in a £36.9m record deal and he has already hit the ground and running. He has scored three goals in four pre-season outings for Liverpool.
Salah has been played from the right flank which has been the main position of Mane but Mane is unfazed by Klopp’s decision to play him on the left for Salah.
“Everybody has seen how he’s quicker than everyone on the pitch,” Mane said. “He’s a nice lad and a great player.
“I am able to play every forward position. I don’t have a problem with that. I have played left wing, right wing and striker – it’s no problem for me.”
Mane is currently recovering from a knee injury that scuppered his impressive debut season for Chelsea but he has returned and is steadily building up match fitness ahead of the season.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are interested in signing Barcelona’s Rafinha and they are willing to make offers for the versatile midfielder.
