Chelsea will be aiming to avoid another defeat when they take on Arsenal in the Community Shield at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
The Premier League champions lost 1-2 to Arsenal in the FA Cup final at the Stadium last season, denying Antonio Conte a double in his first season in England.
The two sides have twice in the Community Shield in 2005 and 2015 with each claiming a win. However, both clubs will be hoping to kick start the me season with a silverware.
Chelsea have had a mixed summer, though they have signed four players they missed out on some of their top targets but Conte will be hoping for a win before they start their Premier League title defence against Burnley on August 12.
Striker Diego Costa is not expected to feature as he continues to sort out his future. Eden Hazard is still out with an ankle injury while the match cones too soon for Pedro who suffered facial fracture in a preseason game Arsenal last month.
Tiemoue Bakayoko is not available as he is still recovering from his knee injury. Cinte could deploy Alvaro Morata, Michy Batshuayi and William in the final third.
Victor Moses is available to play after the FA rules that his suspension- following his red card on the FA Cup final in May would carry over to the club first game in the Premier League.
