Ramsey’s replacement: Arsenal reach €13m agreement to complete first January signing

Unai Emery has been able to bring back hope to the Gunners fanbase after leading the side to their eight win in a role. Nonetheless, he is expected to bolster his squad when the January transfer window comes alive.

According to emerging reports, Arsenal have an agreement in place to sign Paraguay attacking midfielder Miguel Almiron.

The 24-year-old star joined MLS side Atalanta in the December of 2016 from Lanus and he has seen his stock grow since then. He has scored 12 goals and provided 13 assists in 32 games for his side this season and he has won the admiration of several clubs.

Teamtalk cited a report from FOX Deportes USA via 90min, where they claim the fate of the player has already been decided. “Almirón’s future is already decided and will go to England in the European winter market.”

Gonzalo Martinez has been lined-up by Atalanta as replacement for the Arsenal bound midfielder.

The report claims Arsenal have reached a €13million agreement with the side and the deal will be completed in January.

Arsenal reached an impasse over talks with Aaron Ramsey for a new deal and they withdrew their offer. Rife reports have claimed the Welsh midfielder would be sold in January but the Gunners will not allow him leave without a replacement. Almiron, i’m sure, will be a direct replacement for Ramsey.
