Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has debunked reports that his client is having a rift with José Mourinho, according to report.
It was earlier reported in all Sport Journals that the Frenchman and his Portuguese manager are having a not-too-cordial relationship which has led to the manager dropping the club-record signing from his starting lineup in two consecutive matches against Sevilla and Huddersfield Town.
But according to Raiola, both parties are on good terms with each other and they have a great working relationship.
There were rumors that the agent has contacted Real Madrid on behalf of his client over a possible move to Santiago Bernabeu by the end of the season. While reacting to the rumours in an interview with Rai Sport, Raiola revealed that there is nothing to believe in the reports which he described as mere speculations.
“I don’t take anyone anywhere, I’m not a taxi or a plane,” he said of supposed meetings with Real Madrid with a view to a possible move. “Of course, if things weren’t going well then I’d be ready to do my job, which is to find other solutions for the club and the player. There’s no war with Mourinho though, Paul wants to win with United.”
Meanwhile, there have been talks among pundits and fans on where Mourinho could deploy the midfielder so as to get the best out of him ahead of next season as it is obvious that the Portuguese manager hasn’t gotten the best way to use the club’s most expensive player throughout this season.
As for Samuel LuckHurst, a reporter for Manchester Evening News, Pogba’s best position is playing as an attacking midfielder where he has the power to dictate play and bring his creativity to work.
