Manchester United will be aiming to take their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 23 games as they look to usurp city rivals Manchester City to the fourth spot on the League table. City currently sit in fourth on the log with one point ahead of the Red Devils.
United have an outside chance of qualifying for the Champions, this can be achieved if they clinch the Europa Cup trophy in which they have been tagged as the favourite. Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola is in the first season of his career in which he will win nothing but Champions League qualification seem the only feasible achievement he can get.
Jose Mourinho is faced with a selection dilemma in his defense given the number of players sidelined with injuries. Rojo joined Chris Smalling and Phil Jones on the sideline while Pogba picked up a knock and he is a major doubt for this derby clash. We expect Mourinho to tweak his team but whoever is selected must be able to give City a run for their money.
In the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will be out until next year, we expect Marcus Rashford to lead the attack. We should Fellaini in the middle of the park if Pogba does not recover fully.
We think this is how we’l’ file out against the Citizens.
