Player wants move, Ed Woodward to sanction  £45m deal for silky attacker

Probably the longest drawn transfer saga Jose Mourinho has ever been involved in is Ivan Perisic failed move to Man United. But with the transfer window very much opened until next week, there are reports that the player wants to complete a move to Man United.

Perisic was heavily linked with a move to Man United even before Nemanja Matic was signed from Chelsea but Inter Milan  threw out United’s offers for the attacker. Perisic is valued at £50million by the San Siro outfit but United offers were short of their valuation,

Inter Milan had even asked United to include Anthony Martial in a swap deal but Mourinho withdrew interest for the star. And now Sky sport Journalist  Kaveh Solhekol is in the claim that Man United and Ivan Perisic wants the deal to be done, reports Manchester Evening news.

According to the report, Solhekol said: ‘United want him, he wants to come to United and Inter want him to sign a new deal.”

At the opening of the transfer window, Jose Mourinho had informed the brass at Old Trafford that he wanted four players this summer and with the confirmation of Zlatan Ibrahimovic deal, the Red Devils are not looking like they will sign any other player this summer.

When fit, Ibra could play second fiddle to Lukaku in the attack or the Belgian would be moved to flank to accommodate the Swede as the lead attack.
