Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was spotted at the Etihad on Monday in a Premier League game between Manchester City and Everton, and so much debate and theories have been stirred as to why the Special One was there.
Jose Mourinho has already bolstered his squad for this season and despite failing to sign Ivan Perisic after several attempts, the manager of the Red Devils reckons that he’s okay with his team for the now at least. So, he was not on scouting duties at the Etihad.
Manchester City drew the Toffees in the thrilling encounter on Monday and Wayne Rooney made it two in two for Everton this season. He returned to his former club on a free transfer after making history with Man United but he seem to have found his scoring boots.
However, the attention of Man United fans was mainly on Mourinho, who watched with keen interest. Man United play Leicester this weekend but they will play Everton in few weeks, and it is obvious that he was there to learn about his opponent.

Man United currently occupy the top of the Premier League log after two games. They are also yet to concede any goal and pundits have tipped them for the title. We have 36 more games to go but Jose Mourinho has won the league in his second season for all the teams he’s managed, so you can make your permutations.
