Since Antonio Conte allowed Romelu Lukaku to slip through his grasp to Manchester United, he has become more pragmatic with his transfer targets.

The Blues fans woke up to the report that Chelsea and Monaco have agreed a fee for the transfer of French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko on a five year deal and subject to a medical on Friday. While thye sit on the edge of their seats for the confirmation of the reports, the brother of the French stalwart took to snapchat to share the biggest hint that the deal is ongoing, reports Daily Star.

Bakayoko has been a subject of huge interest from Chelsea until Man United reportedly entered the race to sign him. The Red Devils withdrew and the Blues have returned as favorite for his signature. The player has been recovering from a knee injury which is why there has been delay in Chelsea completing a deal for him.

Chelsea advanced talks for a  deal for the player today with claims from RMC sport  that £39.9m has been agreed as fee for his transfer.

L’Equipe journalist Bilel Ghazi picked up a Snapchat post by Bakayoko’s brother Abdou and share it on Instagram.

The report claims a deal has been struck between Bakayoko’s representatives and Monaco for the players transfer.

This has been long coming but his deal is expected to see Nemanja Matic switch Chelsea for Old Trafford.
