France and Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is on the verge of sealing a move with Seria A giants AC Milan following reports he was spotted the club’s medical facility.
Bakayoko arrived Chelsea last summer from Monaco in a £40 million move and he was a first teamer for the Blues under Antonio Conte. Alas, new boss Maurizio Sarri has deemed the star surplus to requirement and he has sanctioned a move for him.
Sarri has bolstered the squad of the Blues and his focus was only on the midfield. Apparently, Bakayoko cannot get into the first team ahead of the likes of Jorginho, Kovacic and Fabregas, and he is on the brink of sealing a move with San Siro giants AC Milan.
According to Calciomercato, he will join Milan on a loan deal in a € 5 million move and the Rossoneri can make the move permanent next summer in a € 35 million deal.
The same report posted a picture of the player in Milan preparing to undergo medical for the move.
Sarri is building a squad at Chelsea that can entertain the fans while winning also and to execute that style, he needs creativity in the middle of the pack, a skill Bakayoko would not be able to offer.
