The cliche in football that Real Madrid always gets their man does not hold sway for Arsenal as the Club get linked to several star players, who end up lacing their boots for other Clubs.
France international and Lyon attacking midfielder Corentin Tolisso has completed a move to Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich, this is according to reports.
The 22-year-old agreed a 5-year deal with the Bavarians in a deal believed to be around £35million. Bayern Munich’s gain is now a loss for Arsenal and Chelsea who have been on the chase of the player.
The Gunners are linked to a plethora of star players and Tolisso is said to be high on the wishlist of Arsene Wenger, per the report.
The midfielder was a key figure for Olympique Lyonaise in the immediate past season where he started in 29 Ligue One games, with eight goals and five assist in the League.
Arsenal failed to qualify for the Champions League after ending the season in fifth position on the Premier League log and that may account for why some of their key target will turn down their offers.
However, Arsene Wenger is tasked to keep his current crop of squad and bolster some areas of his team in order to remain competitive.
