Arsenal target Henry Onyekuru has been confirmed by the Everton as their player after the player agreed all terms to the Merseyside move from Belgian side Eupen.
The Nigerian starlet put pen to paper on a five-year deal in a deal believe to be worth £5.7m with the Toffees but is expected to spend next season on loan at Anderlecht, to enable him secure a work permit.
Onyekuru was joint top scorer in the Belgian Super League last term where he scored 22 League goals and 10 of them were in his last 10 games.
He drew attention from Arsenal and City rivals West Ham United but opted to Join Ronald Koeman at Goodison Park.
“Everton has completed the signing of exciting Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru,” said a statement from the club.
“The pacy 20-year-old has joined the Blues from Belgian side Eupen for an undisclosed fee, becoming the club’s third confirmed signing of the 2017 summer transfer window.”
Everton have very active in the transfer window. The deal for Onyekuru only precedes that of Spanish star Spanish star Sandro Ramirez, who is expected to sign this weekend.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Alexandre Lacazette, with report indication that the player’s valuation will be met by Arsenal.
If Arsenal signs Lacazette, the Gunners may have to allow Oliver Giroud to move away.
