Jurgen Klopp has taken significant strides in strengthening his Liverpool side.

He has acquired Naby Keita and Fabinho and has also welcomed World Cup hero, Xherdan Shaqiri.

Shaqiri has long been linked to the Merseysiders following Stoke’s relegation to the Championships.

His desire to continue playing in the Premier League and the attractive release clause attached to his name was a very tempting buy-out, one the Reds took keen advantage of.

The deal for the 26-year-old was reportedly agreed by Stoke who received 13.75 million pounds for the sensation.

And according to reports from Liverpool, the Swissman has successfully underwent a medical with the Reds and he has become their latest signing.

He has been unveiled to the fans and is expected to resume sooner for pre-season following his exploit at the World Cup.

Adding Shaqiri to his line-up, would definitely bolster Klopp attacking options at the middle of the park.

Not only will his arrival add more fuel to the flames in his frontline, but will enjoy a lot of flexibility, especially for playmaker Mohammed Salah.

The 26-year-old would don the no. 23 shirt he wore for country, Switzerland at the World Cup in Russia.
