Injured Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has delivered an update on his recovery from a knee injury, according to reports.
Lacazette has been a constant figure in Arsene Wenger’s first team since his record breaking move from Olympique Lyonaise last summer. However, the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubamyang has affected his place in the first team of the Gunners.
Lacazette started the season brightly as he scored most of his earlier in the season and at the Emirates Stadium. The 26-year-old star has scored once in his last 13 Premier League games but his poor form has been attributed to the manner in which Arsene Wenger has mismanaged him.
He featured for the Gunners against Tottenham but a niggling knee injury has only compounded his problem. He had a surgery after the NLD and he is expected to be out of action for between 4-6 weeks.
However, it appears that the French forward is already working out his way to full fitness as it is given that he has hit the gym.
Arsenal play Ostersunds in the Europa League this week and they are short of options in attack as Aubameyang is ineligible to play. Wenger will be hoping for the timely return of the star ahead of their other fixtures in the season.
