Apparently Chelsea have become more of a selling Club than the opposite. The League Champions have recouped over 120million pounds since the start of this year in the sale of players – its a good one you know.
Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Club but he will proceed to the Liberty Stadium to join Swansea on a season-long loan deal, reports Chelsea.
The 19-year-old English forward joined Chelsea at the U-8 levels and ascended through the grades of the Club until he was sent on loan to Bristol City last term. While at Ashton Gate , the star bagged 23 goals in 40 League starts and caught the attention of a host of Clubs.
His impressive cameos for the Championship side saw him ended the season as Bristol City Player of the Year and he also picked up the Young Player of the Year awards.
He will continue his development with Welsh side under the tutelage of former former Chelsea assistant first team coach Paul Clement.
Tammy was part of England’s squad that reached the semi-final of the European u21 Championship in Europe. However, he is not ready to play at the level wanted by Conte, so his best bet at regular football is playing away from Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have a poor culture of fielding youngsters – little wonder, we have over 25 players currently on loan.
