Personal terms agreed: Arsenal close to €50.2m deal for third summer signing

The nature of Arsene Wenger’s business in the transfer window has left the Gunner fans wagging their tongues over the Club’s inability to make another marquee signing.

Arsene Wenger has signed on Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette but he has struggled to have another breakthrough, with Thomas Lemar heavily and constantly linked with a move to the Emirates.

If reports making the rounds are anything to go by, Thomas Lemar is on brink of sealing a sensational move to Arsenal after the Gunners made a breakthrough in their £45m(€50.2) offer for the attacker.

Arsenal have had their player on their transfer radar from the opening of the transfer window but have seen two offers for the player rebuffed. However, the Sun claims, negotiation have advanced for the player to switch Monaco for Arsenal with a £45m deal on card.

Monaco won the Ligue 1 trophy for the first time in 17-years and this was made possible with the barnstorming show-offs of the youngsters. He scored 14 goals and provided 17-assist in all competitions for the Ligue One Champions but he is keen on joining his friend Alexandre Lacazette at Arsenal.

The report claims Lemar has already agreed personal terms to join Arsenal and he’s told Monaco he wants out of the Club. Monaco take on Paris Saint Germain on Saturday and Lemar could become an Arsenal player before the game.
