Personal terms agreed: £80m attacker agrees terms to complete Chelsea transfer

Eden Hazard has agreed personal terms to join Barcelona, it’s been widely reported.

Chelsea  offered Hazard an improved contract since last summer. Even though he now has only two years left on his current contract, the Belgian attacker has stalled over signing a new deal with the West London club.

The attacker laid bare his displeasure over the managerial crisis of Chelsea and threaten to leave the club if they don’t sign top-notch players this summer. The Blues have axed Antonio Conte, and Maurizio Sarri is expected to assume the reins of the club but Chelsea have not done any other business in the window.

Hazard has been on the radar of Real Madrid and it was thought that Les Merengues will broker a deal for him to replace Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo. Alas, Barcelona have stolen a march on their arch rivals as he has agreed terms to join Barcelona, reports Transfermarketwet via the Express.

Several players have been lined-up as targets for Chelsea and it is hoped that Sarri would be able to stop the impending exodus at the club. Willian, Danny Drinkwater, Thibaut Courtois, David Luis and Cesc Fabregas have all be linked with a move away from the club.

The report claims Hazard will move to Camp Nou in an  £80m deal following the agreement.
