Manchester United will take on Manchester City in a crunch Premier League tie this weekend but Pep Guardiola has claimed to have his sight only on their Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Citizens will host Ukranian side Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Wednesday and Manchester United four days later.
City are yet to lose a game in the League and their stats reveal they are one of the best clubs if not the best in the World at the moment. They currently occupy the zenith of the Premier League log, with pundits already tipping them to clinch the title.
Meanwhile, they will qualify for the next round of the Champions League if the beat Shakhtar and Hoffenheim loses.
Speaking ahead of the Champions League game, Guardiola revealed he is not thinking about United at the moment.
“Every game is important, and you have to evaluate,” he said.
“Shakhtar is the most important because it’s the first one. After dropping points against Lyon every game is a final.
Meanwhile, Man United are beginning up to pick up the pieces from a shambolic start in the League. They currently occupy seventh spot on the League log but they have conceded so many goals.
City are said to be favourites for the three points against UNited on Sunday.
