Pep Guardiola makes huge claim about Arsene Wenger’s future

Arsenal are currently in one of their worst moments in recent years as they were thrashed again by their rivals Manchester City. It was just some days before when Arsene Wenger’s men were walloped 3-0 at the hands of Manchester City, the Gunners were once again inferior to City as they lost again in their Premier League clash.

Many thought that the Gunners might have learnt their lesson ahead of their clash with the Citizens but that wasn’t the case as they were thrashed with the same goal-margin via Sane, Silva and Bernardo Silva’s goals.

Having seen their team conceded six goals in just one week, Gunners faithfuls have increased their calls for Wenger’s sack by the end of the season.

As for former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher, Wenger is a great manager who knows how to get results but it is time for him to end his stay at Emirates stadium. Carragher further charge the club’s hierarchy to partway with the Frenchman if they wish to end their Premier League title Hoodoo.

Despite huge calls for Wenger’s contract termination from the fans, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola believes the Frenchman knows the best decision to make concerning his future. The Spaniard also confessed his love and respect for Wenger who according to him, is a manager with lots of experience.

Pep believes Wenger is facing a tough time as a manager but the Frenchman would handle the situation by making right decisions which will favor the club, his players and also the fans.

“He knows the club, he knows the Premier League, he knows his players. And I’m sure he’s going to take the right decision, for the club, for him, for the players, for everybody.” he concluded.

Despite losing to Brighton, Arsenal still occupy the sixth position in the Premier League table but they are now 13 points behind Tottenham who are in the fourth position.
