French midfielder Paul Pogba has quelled reports he could be leaving Manchester United anytime soon after describing the club as his home, according to reports.
Pogba is one among many graduates of the prestigious Man United academy but he left for Juventus at 18 before breaking into the first team of the side. Nonetheless, he returned in an £89million deal five years later as the most expensive player in the World and threw the fanbase of United into a frenzy.
His relationship Mourinho has severed since the start of the season, throwing his future into uncertainty. Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all be linked with a move for the star but it is left to be seen if he’d end up in any of the clubs.
While fans are eager to know if he’d stay at the club beyond this season, he has revealed that Man United will forever be his home.
Coming back to Manchester United was like coming home,’ said Pogba. ‘This has always been my home and it forever will be.’
United have had a shaky start to life in the Premier League and Mourinho has called on the brass of the side to bolster his squad for the second half of the season.
