Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sanction surprise sale of Man United duo

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has sanction the sale of two Manchester United players this month, according to reports.

Although Solskjaer is in charge of United on interim basis, he performance has led to United to giving him a free hand to hire and fire from the squad.

He has led United to a barnstorming campaign so far, winning all their games since he took charge of the helms of the club.

The Norwegian manager has laid bare his desire to continue as the boss of United and with an iota of doubt, Ed Woodward would already have spared a thought about it.’

He revealed that United have no need of new signings this window but the several names have been linked with a move for the club. Ivan Perisic, Steven Bergwijn and Medhi Benatia are reportedly targets for United.

However, we expect the new boss to offload some of the redundant players in his squad.

According to The Sun, Antonio Valencia is currently after Ashley Young and Diogo Dalot in the selection pecking order and he is likely going to leave this week.

He has struggled for game time this term but he is wanted by Newcastle and Fulham. The Colombian is in the final year of his contract with United and could leave on loan.

Meanwhile, Matteo Darmian is a target for Valencia and he could leave this January or the summer.
