Antonio Conte drafted some Chelsea youngsters into the senior squad and Grant was among the few that made the cut. He has trained along David Luiz and he is very well noted for his leadership qualities.
While Grant has featured in four games for the U21 side of the Blues, one can argue that the loan deal for the star has come later as it is given that he is doing very well and is yet to break into the first team of the Blues.
He will now link up with former teammate Nathan Baxter at Yeovil.
“Josh is powerful, athletic and has a good personality,” Yeovil boss Darren Way told the club’s official website.
Romania Under-21 player Dobre, 20, was on loan at Bury and Rochdale last term.
“I’d like to thank Eddie Howe for allowing an international talent to continue his development with us,” Way said.
