Liverpool pair Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson have both been superb for Reds this campaign and Jordan Henderson has echoed his admiration for both defenders.
Robertson and Alexander-Arnold have both committed their future at Anfield after penning new contracts. Liverpool had been worse off in previous years with a thin defence that had threatened their position in England top-tier for years.
Liverpool are now sailing on calm waters and have significantly improved from last season until now. And defensive pair Alexander-Arnold and Robertson have blossomed well under Jurgen Klopp.
And Henderson has lifted the former, lavishing him with plenty of praise over his conduct and character at the Merseyside outfit.
Henderson told the club’s official website: “He is incredibly dedicated to football and to Liverpool in particular. He has a huge hunger to learn and learn from everyone within our squad.
“His ability to absorb setbacks and not be negatively affected by them is incredible and I think that will be one of his biggest assets as his career goes on.”
Robertson is not far off either and Henderson agrees he’s been a fans favourite.
He added: “I know our supporters absolutely buzz off him and rightly so, but he’s just as respected in our dressing room for how he conducts himself.
“He never allowed the need to be patient for his chance to impact how he was around Melwood.”
