Wales and Chelsea youngster Ethan Kwame Colm Raymond Ampadu has penned a five year extension deal with club, this is according to report.
The talented midfielder caught the eyes of Chelsea with series of impressive displays for Exeter City and he was plucked from the club in the summer of 2017 after the Blues paid a tribunal fee for him.
Since then, the 18-year-old star has featured seven times for Chelsea and he has been dubbed as one of the most talented stars in the B team of the club.
He’s earned a call up to the national team of Wales and his outing against Ireland in the Nations League has left a lot of the Blues fans leaking their lips. He only turned 18 last week and you can see maturity in his game.
Ampadu told Chelsea’s official website : “I’m really proud and happy. I’m looking forward to the next five years and all I have got to do now is continue to work hard, and hopefully good things will happen.” after signing the deal.
The youngster is currently wanted by Cardiff City, who manager Neil Warnock has appealed that he be loaned to them,
“They should loan him to us,” Bluebirds boss Warnock said
“What I like about him is that he is so confident.
“He plays the game simple. He will have to quicken up a little bit when he gets higher up because he will get caught.
“He will get that by playing games. When you play with the type of players he has to play with it does help with his education.
