The Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has been tipped to ply his trade in Serie A as giants lock horns for his signature.
Matteo Darmian is wanted by Juventus, Roma, and Napoli during the January transfer window.
Having played just 5 games as a starter in all competitions for Manchester United this season, Matteo is convinced that his service is no longer needed at the red part of Manchester — Old Trafford.
Juventus are currently shopping for a player who has the ability to defend and also join in any attacking move made by the team. They are believed to have found the ideal player with the quality of a modern-day defender in person of Matteo Darmian.
Napoli are in need of more quality players so as to compete with Juventus for the title. The same with Roma who want to stamp more authority in the title race.
According to reports from old Trafford, Mourinho can only buy new players if he terminates contracts with some unused players in the squad, and Darmian is one of the players whose contracts might be terminated at the end of the season.
The former Torino player has lost his place in Mourinho’s starting XI to Antonio Valencia.
Among the players likely to join Matteo at Manchester United’s exit door are Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw, Michael Carrick, Anthony Martial and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
