Diego Costa’s imminent departure has got Antonio Conte rummaging for potential players to fill the void left by the enigmatic Brazilian, but it looks as though Conte is set to go the extra mile.
Chelsea have been mentioned as one of the clubs interested in the services of Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale. It is reported that the Blues are keenly interested in the Wales international, and they are gradually running out of options and time as the transfer window reaches its culmination.
This may have gotten the London giants perplexed, with the latest report from Spanish Publication now stating that they are now prepared to include Eden Hazard in any deal that will see Bale switch to the Stamford Bridge.
Conte has not failed to express his contempt over the somewhat calmness in his club’s transfer activities, but signing Bale could yet placate him if the deal pulls through anyway.
The details as per the amount in this potential deal are not stated. However, it is believed that the Blues are willing to offer some cash and Hazard in exchange for the Madrid’s forward, reports Don Balon.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are not the only club gunning for Bale, as it is reported that Manchester United are also lurking around for the player’s signature having accepted defeat in the chase for Ivan Perisic.
Hazard has been a long-term target of Madrid therefore he could be licking his lips in anticipation if this report happens to hold water though.
