While the other top Premier League clubs have bolstered their squad significantly this term, there has been a dearth of transfer activities at Arsenal, which has raised questions over Arsene Wenger’s desire to win the League and return the club to the days of glory.
The transfer window is very much still open and Arsenal have may be on the verge of signing in-demand Caen striker Yann Karamoh, after offering to pay more money to the Ivorian, this is according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
There is currently uncertainty over the future of some Arsenal players and it includes the imminent departure of Spanish striker Lucas Perez. Arsenal have already released Yaya Sanogo but Wenger is keen on adding a prospective star to his side and Karamoh has caught the fancy of Arsenal.
The 19-year-old has been with French side Caen since 2011 but he featured for the senior side last term and scored 5 goals in 35 League appearances. He has caught the attention of Tottenham, Inter Milan but Di Marzio claims Arsenal have offered more to the youngster in terms of personal terms than Inter Milan. However, Karamoh has decided to join Inter Milan as he may get more playing time with the San Siro giants.
Since the signing of Thomas Lemar, Arsenal transfer activities appear to have stalled but the Gunners are still in the search for players.
