Not Lemar: £70m-rated Arsenal target reveals he’s decided on move, Liverpool snubbed

The current transfer window has seen records set and shattered, as most of the clubs in the Premier League broke their records to get their targets..

One name headlined the media wave earlier in the transfer window and it was Borrussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who attracted interest from Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Gabonese has finally put to rest all the speculations regarding his future as he has revealed that he is happy and will stay put at the Signa Iduna Park, according to report.

Aubameyang had a barnstorming season with Dortmund last season, where he ended the term as the Bundesliga top scorer after beaten Robert Lewandowski – he scored 40 goals in all competitions last term and drew heavy attraction to himself.

He had informed his principals at the Signa Iduna Park of his desire to exit the club but non of his reported suitors could meet his valuation. He has drew interest from China too but the 28-year will be playing for Dortmund this season.

“It is true that I spoke to Borussia Dortmund before I went on vacation,” Aubameyang told Welt am Sonntag.

“I told them my thoughts, that I was maybe ready to try something different. The discussions with Michael Zorc and Hans-Joachim Watzke were open and fair.

“But none of the clubs that wanted me could make a transfer happen, so I will stay here at Borussia Dortmund. I like staying here very much. I feel at home in Dortmund.

Arsenal have already signed on Alexandre Lacazette and the Gunners have shifted their attention to Thomas Lemar. Methinks Aubameyang would have added the desired potency to the Gunners attack, his price tag was a major turn off for Arsene Wenger.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have also bolstered their attack with Dominic Solanke, and it appears that klopp is looking to add a midfielder and a defender before the window is closed.
