Brazilian winger Willian could be heading for Barcelona at the turn of the year when the transfer window opens again, reports have claimed.
Barcelona have been tailing the 30-year-old since the summer of this year, and have tried to pull all stops to land the star at Camp Nou.
Fellow countryman Malcolm was purchased this summer after seeing several bids to lure the Willian away from Chelsea this summer put down.
But Malcolm has only enjoyed a small bit of football under boss Ernesto Velverde this season, just a tiny chop from one hour of playing time, the ex Ligue One star has enjoyed so far since joining in July.
He has found it hard to settle in at Camp Nou and a much better alternative would be old target Willian replacing him at the Catalan club.
However, this time, the Catalans would need to cough up a bigger offer that could trigger an inviting smile from Chelsea’s hierarchy who, stopped efforts to get the winger this season.
It was aired that Barcelona are willing to offer 75 million pounds for the winger, but that price could be watered down if Malcolm moves to west London.
Malcolm is flipped at the moment and is angling for a move away from the club. La Sexta, Spanish TV outlet has claimed the deal is very likely to happen.
Notwithstanding, Willian has said he is very happy at Chelsea and nothing can change that.
