Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly in the race for PSG forward Neymar in the summer. The Red Devils are willing to make a surprise contract offer which will make him the most expensive player in the world, according to Don Balon.
The report claims that United’s representatives are already in talks with the player’s father and agent over a possible switch to Old Trafford for a fee which is believed to be a whopping sum of €350million.
The 26-year-old superstar has been in fine form for the former Ligue 1 Champions whom he joined from Barcelona in the summer. Despite his exploits for Unai Emery’s side, the Brazilian is reportedly set to end his stay at the Parc De Princes in the summer and he is being linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Neymar, 26, is currently out of action after he picked up a fractured metatarsal injury last month and he is a doubt for the summer world Cup as he is expected to be sidelined for a minimum of three months.
Manchester United boss José Mourinho has already told reporters that he won’t add another striker to his squad during the summer after completing Alexis Sanchez switch from Arsenal in January. Having seen a less impressive display from the Chilean striker, Mourinho seems to have changed his decision as he is considering beating Real Madrid to the player’s signature.
