Mourinho tells Florentino Perez why he’s angry with Zinadine Zidane over Chelsea target

Jose Mourinho has confirmed his interest in Spanish striker Alvaro Morata after reports according to Diario Gol revealed that the Portuguese tactician has registered his displeasure over Zidane’s treatment of Morata by placing a call to Madrid’s chief Florentino Perez.

Morata returned to Real Madrid after unsuccessful two-year spell with Juventus. Since joining Madrid in the summer, the star striker has fallen down the selection perking order. Zidane prefers a striking trident that includes Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale.

The 24-year-old striker has been constantly linked with a move to the Premier League and the Express now claims Manchester United have joined Chelsea are on his chase. It was Antonio Conte that signed Morata for Juventus and it is thought that a reunion might be in the offing.

Chelsea are left with Diego Costa as the only reliable out-and-out striker, to continue to remain at the top of their game, Conte is expected to make some signings in the summer and Morata is a top target for the Blues.

Meanwhile Man United are currently faced with a striking dilemma. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is rule out until next year with injury and there are report that Rooney will depart Old Trafford in the summer. Mourinho is on the look out for striking options and he has already contacted Morata personally.

Mourinho is wary of Zidane’s treatment of Morata, who he feels deserve more playing time but his constant contact with Perez means a deal for the player may come cheap.

    1. Don’t you think if will be difficult to sign those three players in a transfer window. I think James Rodgriguez is a more realistic target for next summer cos he’ll command first team football at United. Neymar and Griezmann wont move in the summer
